Our Origin Story
Long ago, in the snowy landscapes of Juneau, Alaska, lived a creative and wise individual named Reggie. At the age of 71, he embarked on an adventure with his friends Victor and Alex, delving into the heart of Alaska’s majestic wilderness on a journey to Denali.
Their journey led them to Talkeetna, a village nestled under Denali’s towering presence. Here, Reggie discovered a treasure that would inspire a new chapter in his life – a bar of handmade soap, infused with eucalyptus, rosemary, and a hint of Alaskan wilderness.
This bar was more than just soap; it was a connection to mystical realms. As Reggie used the soap, he felt deeply intertwined with the Alaskan spirit. When the bar was nearly gone, back in Juneau and facing retirement, Reggie had a moment of clarity: “Craft your magic, and the world will embrace it.” This inspiration was both a spiritual awakening and a practical way to supplement his retirement income.
Embracing this new endeavor, Reggie, occasionally referred to as the Soap Wizard for his natural and creative approach to soap-making, chose all-natural ingredients. Each ingredient was a reflection of Reggie’s adventures in Alaska and his commitment to offering healthier, natural options.
Reggie established “Word of Mouth Soap” as his business name, telling stories of adventure and natural artistry through his soaps. The physical space where these creations came to life was named “Reggie’s Soap House.” Here, Reggie, also known as the Soap Wizard for his magical touch with natural ingredients, crafted each batch by hand, infusing them with his journey’s essence.
As Reggie’s talent grew, so did the magic of his soaps. This evolution inspired a transformation, leading to the birth of Aether and Earth Lotions & Potions. This new name reflects the expanded range of enchanting products and the deepening of Reggie’s magical craft.
